Synopsis

This book is a practical handbook for the course on electrotherapy, vibrotherapy and phototherapy, which is taught in the second year of the Physiotherapy degree programme, covering both the theoretical and practical aspects. Seventy images and 35 videos have been created for the book.

This manual represents the creation of new teaching material, as there is currently no practical support material available for students. Furthermore, the publication of this book will enable students to follow and learn the practical aspects of the subject immediately. Through a clear and accessible structure, the book integrates theory with examples of clinical application based on scientific evidence.

 


To consolidate learning, each chapter includes real-life case studies that challenge the reader to apply theoretical knowledge in everyday clinical settings. This book will become a practical tool for students in training through practical case studies, as well as an important source of support for teachers. Furthermore, the manual includes a comprehensive appendix on contraindications, ensuring that patient safety is always the absolute priority in professional practice.
